Broker Mike Kendall guided the process for Lake Ozark Dive Services, a respected scuba welding operation that has served the region for years. The previous owner had built a strong reputation but, like many in demanding trades, eventually reached the natural limits of a career spent underwater. It was time to pass the torch.
Enter Ed, a nuclear engineer from Wisconsin. After years of constant travel, he sought a new path that would allow him to stay closer to home and invest in his growing family. Taking over Lake Ozark Dive Services provided the perfect opportunity: a business with strong roots, community trust, and room for growth.
The transaction itself came with a unique set of hurdles. An official business address change triggered the need for updated appraisals, surveys, and approvals from county, fire, and 911 offices. With persistence, cooperation from the bank, and teamwork from all involved, every requirement was met, and the deal was completed successfully.
