H. Meade Summers worked with Padel and Pickleball Club, to open in Olivette, MO
St. Louis (Nov 13, 2023) – Hilliker Corporation President, H. Meade Summers, worked with Mike Puerta and Kevin Maher of Padel and Pickleball Club St. Louis, to lease the industrial space at 1220 N. Price Road in Olivette. This new club complex will occupy 42,000-square-feet and is a unique opportunity for the founding partners because it is centrally-located in St. Louis, offering easy access to Interstate 170. The term of the lease is seven years and the lease rate is undisclosed.
According to Puerta, the partnership group’s research indicated that this would be a prime location for the club because of a lack of available indoor pickleball courts in the area. This club will feature high-end cushioned playing surfaces that are designed to reduce injuries and increase player comfort. Padel is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and is relatively new to St. Louis.
The high ceilings of the industrial space were a requirement, and the open space “offers a perfect symbiotic way to participate in both sports” according to Puerta. “Meade Summers was wonderful to work with on this transaction. He was very professional and quick to respond.”
The club will feature a snack bar, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, plus a pro shop. The surrounding area in Olivette also offers multiple dining opportunities within a few blocks. Padel and Pickleball Club is set to open December 2023.
The owner and landlord of the property is Intelica, represented by Drew Clary.
