Hilliker Corporation, a St. Louis owned and managed commercial real estate company, recently assisted a local food management company combine both its corporate and catering services under one roof for the first time in its history.
Food Service Consultants, along with sister company Specialized Catering, will move into its newly leased 6,160-square-foot consolidated location at 8534 Watson Rd. on Feb. 22. Founded in 1985, Food Service Consultants primarily caters to more than 70 private schools, as well as businesses, nursing homes, and senior living facilities. Specialized Catering provides catering services for charities, corporations, private events, and weddings.
Food Service Consultants was previously located at 2370 Schuetz Rd. in Maryland Heights. Specialized Catering was located at 5821-5823 Dewey in South St. Louis. The new location will allow Food Service Consultants the ability to offer its catering services to the general public.
More than $400,000 in renovations were made by the landlord, H & H Greece, LLC. The building was the previous home of First Wok Buffett and, prior to that, was the original St. Louis location for Shakey’s Pizza. Hilliker Corporation broker Hal Ball represented both the landlord and the tenant, Food Service Consultants.
