City of Brentwood buys Industrial Building for Its Public Works Facility.
On May 1st the city of Brentwood closed on the purchase of 288 Hanley Industrial Ct. a 38,700 square-foot building located on a 2.3 acre site. The property is occupied by Pitney Bowes who will be relocating to a new facility in Maryland Heights. Brentwood will be retrofitting the property to consolidate its public works/parks division, currently located on Manchester Road, along with several other city operations. Bola Akande, Brentwood City Administrator is excited for the move saying, 
"This property is ideally located in our industrial district adjacent to our Police HQ and will allow the current Manchester Road site to be used for more appropriate commercial or retail business in our community.” Brentwood hopes to be in the new facility by Spring 2025. Brentwood was represented in the transaction by Hal Ball and Powell Kalish with Hilliker Corporation commercial real estate.
