St. Louis (May 31, 2024) – Ben Welch, a James Beard Award finalist, and Feast's St. Louis Chef of the Year in 2019, recently leased the commercial building at 4156 Manchester Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110, the former site of BEAST Butcher & Block restaurant (which closed in March 2023) to open two concepts later this year. The free-standing brick building has a gross leasable area of 5,742 sq. ft. of retail restaurant space and was built in 1955, originally for Beyond Housing.
Powell Kalish of Hilliker Corporation represented both parties in the lease. “Having first hand experience as a restaurant operator, really allowed Powell to step in my shoes to find the ideal space for Lucy Quinn and Little Lucy,” said Welch.
