Christopher Taff earned his MBA, with a concentration in Process and Project Management from Maryville University in 2013 and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration Majoring in Finance with a Minor in Construction Management from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville in 2009.
Prior to joining Hilliker Corporation, Christopher worked at a commercial real estate company for 12 years. Christopher started as a leasing agent at the company owned 386 unit apartment complex while in college then promoted to assistant property manger and in 2012 was promoted to asset manager. As Asset Manager, Christopher performed a multifaceted role in evaluating, managing, leasing and upgrading a diverse collection of commercial properties for multimillion-dollar real estate portfolios. He also recommended the acquisition and disposition of properties based on cash flow, cash flow after taxes, IRR, ROI and various other KPI’S. Christopher negotiated and managed NNN lease properties with national and regional fast food restaurants, C-Store / gasoline, billboards and daycare chains for the best terms and outcomes.
Additionally, Christopher scheduled and managed construction projects from pre-construction to project closeout by coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and labor. He ensured proper zoning and construction permits were obtained, approved scope of work, solicited, reviewed and approve construction bids.
Christopher specializes in industrial real estate and represents commercial real estate buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants.
